Foundation Media - Introduction

For my foundation media coursework I will be creating the opening sequence for an imaginary film from a specific genre. My opening sequence will last approximately two minutes. 

It will include titles and other typical conventions of opening scenes and will be recognisable as belonging to a specific genre. I haven't decided which genre my opening sequence will belong to yet so I will begin by doing some research into a wide range of opening sequences of films from different genres to record any consistent conventions. I will record all my research and planning on this blog.
